Last month, Janelle Monae and Grimes released an exclusive music video on the streaming service TIDAL (#PayYourFavoriteArtists), and it serves SO MUCH LEWK!

At at time where big labels are not as invested in high-concept music videos, there’s worry that truly creative artists don’t have a platform. Full disclosure, I subscribe to TIDAL for, among many reason, exclusive work that lets artists be themselves. I don’t own any of these images. I just wanted to celebrate the fact that in the 21st century, young people are still using the music video medium to create amazing visual art.
