13 Things I learned while traveling two weeks through London, Paris, Nice, St-Paul de Vence, Grasse, Rome, and Milan:

  1. A little French, a little Italian.
  2. The Paris Metro.
  3. Everyone in France and Italy wears Converse. All the time.
  4. Everyone in Rome and Milan wears sunglasses. All the time.
  5. Milan has great street food.
  6. Men dress better than women, especially in London.
  7. The London Underground.
  8. Every little old man has an equally little dog.
  9. If I didn’t know what truly rich people did with their money, now I know. I’ve been to Monaco.
  10. The Rome Metro.
  11. Everyone in Rome and Milan wears sunglasses. All the time.
  12. On the surface Paris seems big, old, mean and dirty. But give it time and the romance will come to you. You can’t make it happen.
  13. There are about two dozen different ways o flush a toilet.
